Pulsar 200NS Ride Review

Beyond a decade, the pulsars have archived a reputation and managed to maintain it at the customers heart world wide. This year the big achievement of Bajaj, the all new pulsar 200NS has been launched by David Peris Motor Company  in Srilanka. Bajaj Products are well known for value for money and pulsars are very well known for the muscular and eye catchy design and jaw dropping performance figures.
So whats all new about the all new Pulsar 200NS, read through....

Design-

The all new pulsar 200NS looks a lot better than on screen or paper ads in reality, the very first thing which attracts you is the aggressive  bull styled head light. The way they kept the pilot lamp is genius. You can also notice the trademark bulging pulsar tank also has been redesigned to match the theme, while the storage has shrunk to maximum of 12 litters. The plastic panels alongside gives a larger and sharper look.

The neatly hidden underbelly exhaust system not only look good but also does a great job in weight distribution as allows more balance.
Split seats adding more aggressive stand to the sporty look while the digital instrumental panel supports the rider with useful information under any daylight condition.
The rear view of the bike also looks aggressive with legendary pulsar led rear light reminds the glory.

Performance –

The liquid cooled 199.5cc four valve triple sparking plug engine is exclusively developed for the Pulsar 200NS. It produce a little over 23bhp which is more than enough for rule the roads in style.

The 200Ns makes it with a SOHC (single overhead camshaft engine) engine set up for its four valve technology. The engine cleanly pulls up to 10,000 rpm and power delivery is smooth. Acceleration is quick and the sound is good even after 6,000 rpm mark.
With an powerful engine like this the bike can touch the top speed of 136km/h with no time while leaving others in the dust.
The six speed gear box is better than ever, although this is a very first pulsar which features a six speed gear box the transmissions are soft as butter.

Handling  -

The pulsar not only looks good, its behavior on road over comes its sharp looks. The handling of the 200NS is adding points. It is the well handling naked bike available in the market. The bike is better composed a series of turns and sharp breaking. A light weight twine spare pressed steel greatly enhances the agility of the 200NS.
A nitox mono shock absorber at the rear adds further to the bikes handling and looks. The suspension set up is well adjusted to suit not only for on - road rides but also off-road as well.
The breaking ability of the pulsar 200NS is significantly improved, you can break at 90km/h speed with no worries it will maintain a straight line.
For the first time pulsars offers a knee recess which fixed at the lower part of the tank to give more comfortable for the rider while leaning in to the corner.
The most notable part is even though this is a high capacity performance bike, it is very easy to maintain and control in have traffic.

Conclusion –

The pulsar 200NS is a giant lead by Bajaj auto in terms of technology, with the help of Australian manufacturer KTM. This bike has a good road presence and overall quality.

This sharp bull is now available in any David Peris Motor Company (DPMC) show rooms and dealer networks for a wide range of colors to choose form Rs.424,900.00 all tax inclusive.

Surprise News from Rajiv Bajaj

Wake up Bikers!!!!!

Rajiv Bajaj promised that to launch two new Pulsars in this year!!!! yes the official interview given to moneycontrol.com highlighted that Bajaj auto is preparing for two new Pulsars to launch in india.

As we already know that one would be the Pulsar 375 with the same platform in KTM 390 so what about the second on???? One possibility could have been a faired version of Pulsar 200NS but since he says it will be smaller than 200NS, this option goes out of question. We really cannot comprehend what and how smaller will this Pulsar be, as of now, but what we can assure ourselves is that, since it is a Pulsar, it will be exciting!

Personally i am expecting the pulsar with new design with monoshok, dual disk, etc... powered by 150cc/ 180cc engine.

Yamaha R15 in Srlanka

Hai friends,

Its a pleasure to meet you all after a long time. I was a little busy with my studies and all other stuffs. We are already passed 3 months in this new year but now only i got an opportunity to do my first post of the year.
Please excuse me and i am sure ill be able to make many posts as i can.

Coming back to the point, i have bought a good news for Yamaha lovers, yes the title was true AMW may introduce the award winning Yamaha R15 in Srilanka. When Stafford motors launched CBR 250R we received an all new supper bike segment. to compete the CBR DPMC launched the premium Pulsar 200NS.

Yamaha R15 V 2.0

This move in market creates a space for premium  bike segment in Srilanka, so i expect AMW may launch this YZF R15 v2.0 to compete with CBR 250.
We will talk more on this later.
